Our Mahjong Gaming Mats are made using PLAYFINISH, Tigre de Tartán’s proprietary material developed specifically for American Mahjong.
PLAYFINISH combines the durability and structure of a furnishing material with the comfort needed for extended play. Unlike neoprene, it is wipeable, smooth, and supportive without feeling spongy or overly soft.
The surface provides light cushioning to protect tiles while maintaining a clean, flat playing field. Tiles move easily without slipping, and the mat lies flat on the table with no curling at the edges.
Designed to be lived with, PLAYFINISH is durable enough for regular use, easy to clean, and refined enough to leave out between games.
